Summary
Your new company
We are working with a primary school located in South Liverpool, Calderstones, looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to assist in the year 5 classroom. You will be helping children thrive in their learning environment whilst also providing one-to-one support and assisting small groups.
We are looking for individuals who are confident, patient, and committed to supporting the educational progress of pupils, including those with additional needs.
Your new role:
-Help manage behaviour -Offer support to the classroom teacher
-Encourage pupils to be focused and involved in all activities and learning
-Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with the teaching team
-Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
-Hold your own smaller support groups to assist in learning
What you'll need to succeed:
-Full DBS on the update service -Knowledge of safeguarding
-Full right to work in the UK
-Able to manage difficult behaviour
-Previous SEN experience
