Your new company
You will be joining a small primary school in Belle Vale, South Liverpool that is committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment for all its children. They are looking for a teaching assistant to work within their Year 1 class supporting general learning starting September 2025. The role is temporary with a chance of going permanent for the right candidate.
The school sets high expectations of staff and pupils, and is looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of literacy, numeracy and other core subjects across Key Stage 1. You will work alongside the year 1 class teacher to offer a stimulating and engaging learning environment for all pupils. You will be expected to hold small groups to assist in learning and build strong constructive relationships with your new pupils.
What you'll need to succeed:
-Full DBS on the update service -An NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not required.
-Skills in communication, literacy & numeracy
-Attributes such as patience, empathy, creativity, and flexibility
-Experience of working with children, preferably in an early year setting
-Full Right to work in the UK
