Are you a passionate and experienced KS1 teacher looking for a new challenge?
We are working with a well-regarded and welcoming primary school in Nechells to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2025 through July 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school community, known for its nurturing environment, strong leadership, and high expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, focusing on Year 2.


  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.


  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, offering clear feedback and differentiated support.


  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistency and best practices across the school.


  • Effectively manage behaviour and classroom routines to support learning.


  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of all learners, including those with SEND.


    ✅ What We’re Looking For:

    We are seeking a teacher who:

    • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with recent experience in KS1, ideally Year 2.


    • Has strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks (including SATs preparation).


    • Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.


    • Demonstrates excellent behaviour management and organisational skills.


    • Is confident, adaptable, and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.


    • Is available full-time from September 2025 for the duration of the contract.
