We are looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive team in Welford, Newbury. This role involves teaching students with a variety of special educational needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and Mental Health challenges.
This school have a strong team work bond where everyone supports each other, regardless of job title! They are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team at their site in Newbury. This is a permanent role starting in September, ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Plan, deliver, and assess inclusive and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all students, particularly those with SEND.
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other staff members, therapists, and parents to develop individualised learning plans.
- Utilise and integrate various teaching aids and technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to SEND education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in SEND education.
- Experience teaching students with a range of special educational needs.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
