Summary
LSS Leeds Class 2 Driver JOB DESCRIPTION
Thses roles are advertised by Smart Solutions on behalf of our client, who specialised in the waste sector, who is looking for Class 2 Drivers in the Leeds area.
Day shift
Hours are 45 per week – Monday-Friday 6am-4pm (Saturdays as required).
£15.38 flat rate
Evening Shift
Hours are 35 per week – Monday-Friday 3:30pm-10:30pm
£16.25 flat rate
Key Responsibilities:
• Waste Transportation: Safely operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated locations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Route Planning: Plan efficient routes for timely waste collection and delivery.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and any incidents.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service and address any client inquiries professionally.
• Skip / RoRo driving experience preferred but not essential
Qualifications:
• Valid HGV Class 2 driver’s license.
• CPC Qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Strong driving and navigation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
