Summary
The Mount School York is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly qualified, and experienced native-speaking German Conversation Assistant to join our thriving and well-established Modern Languages Department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils’ language development by leading one-to-one and small group conversation sessions designed to build fluency, confidence, and cultural awareness. Working closely with our German teacher, they will help reinforce core vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and bring authentic linguistic and cultural experiences into the classroom.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about language teaching, personable, and able to build positive working relationships with students. Flexibility, good communication skills, and an understanding of the UK education system are essential.
6.5 hours per week
