Do you have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare, are you looking for the next step in your career? We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated and forward-thinking individual as our Variable Hours Lecturer - Childcare and Early Years, based at our Wycombe campus.
We are looking for a candidate to deliver our Level 2 Diploma qualification in Childcare and Early Years and our T-Level Level 3 in Education and Early Years.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Have the ability to plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules which motivate students to achieve.
- Plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, whilst also ensuring students are stretched and challenged to reach their full potential.
- Address the Early Years needs of students and work creatively to overcome individual barriers to learning, both within and outside of the classroom.
- Support learners to demonstrate the skills they learn in the classroom in their work experience settings.
- Use effective strategies to support learners to complete coursework and prepare for external assessments and examinations.

Taking Teaching Further
The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.
As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. This is a great way for experienced professionals to achieve a recognised teaching qualification whilst in employment.
