Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Sous Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team at a distinguished hotel and restaurant in the heart of the Cotswolds. Key Responsibilities:
-Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team to deliver outstanding culinary creations across various dining outlets.
-Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, innovation, and the highest culinary standards.
-Manage inventory, contribute to menu development, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Mentor and develop junior chefs, fostering a collaborative and inspiring kitchen environment.
-Bring creative ideas to enhance menus and elevate the guest dining experience.
Requirements:
-Extensive experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen.
-Strong leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and managing teams.
-Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
-Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
-Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting while maintaining precision and quality.
-Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
