We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working at one of our schools, St Mary’s C of E School, Askham Richard, York.
The School:

The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join North Yorkshire Council in a dual role as a Cleaner and Caretaker, helping to keep our site clean, safe, and secure.
You’ll be responsible for general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising washrooms, as well as caretaking tasks like opening and locking the site, setting the alarm, and ensuring the premises are secure.
This part-time role offers 25 hours per week (17.5 hours cleaning and 7.5 hours caretaking), working Monday to Friday between 3:30pm and 7:00pm with some flexibility to start and finish times. No weekend work
You’ll be paid £12.60–£13.05 per hour, depending on the duties, and enjoy a term-time only (plus 3 weeks) schedule. A role that fits around school holidays!
Full training is provided, so no prior experience is necessary, just a great attitude and a commitment to keeping our school clean and secure.

*The basic hourly rate for these posts is £12.60 - £13.05, for the right candidate a recruitment welcome payment of up to 10% of the starting salary may be payable as a one-off welcome payment.
This post requires an Enhanced DBS, the cost of which will be met by the Employer.
