Crynodeb
This Administrative Officer position forms part of a dedicated team working in the Main Guard Room and the primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
Processing and issue of individual and car passes to military, civil service, dependants and contractors who have the appropriate vetting and authority to access the Station.
Raising queries to RAF Police Flt management regarding serious issues relating to the vetting of personnel and any decisions concerning the exclusion of personnel from the Station.
Maintenance of the P&P hard copy database for all vetting applications.
P&P IT system administrator and responsible for training personnel at RAF Honington.
Carry out any other administrative duties considered necessary by OC RAF Police & Sy Flt or their nominated deputy.
A requirement of all employees is to complete mandatory training directed by the MOD and Civil Service. These are completed both online and face to face, therefore experience with Microsoft applications would be an advantage. In addition, individuals are responsible for their own personal admin via an online portal, this includes recording leave, training, claims for allowances etc.
