Crynodeb
To be the lead clinical pharmacist for Research and Innovation and provide highly specialist and advanced level clinical support to the haematology/ oncology care group. The post holder will be part of a team of lead clinical pharmacists that work within each of the Trusts care groups. Key expectations of these roles will be: To be a leading clinical pharmacist expert in their area of speciality working at, or near to, the Advanced Pharmacy Framework Advanced Stage 2 and aspiring to Mastery. Oversee and plan complex and innovative pharmacy services for their care group, planning and organising pharmacy services, often adjusting plans according to service need. Line manage and contribute the education and training of pharmacy staff and the multi-disciplinary team working in their care group. Work as part of a collaborative pharmacy clinical leadership team, utilising collective expertise to oversee and steer clinical pharmacy services. Be an integrated member of the care group, including attendance to relevant care group governance and management meetings, advising on medicines governance, formulary, finance, safety and pathways. Work as an advanced practitioner to provide enhanced prescribing and assessment support to the care group in an area of specialist practice on wards and in clinic, as appropriate.
