Summary

We’re seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Estates and Facilities team at our North Wyke campus and want to hear from you!

You’ll carry out essential maintenance and compliance tasks across the estate, helping to ensure a safe and fully functional environment.

What You’ll Do:
Perform general maintenance, minor repairs, painting/decorating, and routine vehicle checks.

Assist in fire safety inspections, legionella flushing tasks, and water consumption monitoring.

Use equipment such as forklift or telehandler for moving goods and materials.

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and record data using mobile devices.

Help manage site resources, ensure tools/equipment are used safely, and act in response to helpdesk queries.

What We’re Looking For:
Five GCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent qualifications (e.g., NVQ1/2, City & Guilds).

Awareness of general maintenance tasks and tools.

Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Basic IT skills (e.g., MS Outlook).

Legionella Awareness and Fire Safety training.

Forklift truck certification.

A full, valid UK driving licence.
