Job Role
The Cook, with passion and flair for food, is required to manage the smooth running of the kitchen on a daily basis, ensuring lunches and dinners are produced to a high standard for students, some of which are on restrictive diets, staff and visitors. Managing the kitchen team and a budget, stock control, menu planning, promoting health, safety and hygiene, and attending and supporting training are all requisites of the post.
As well as your set hours you may be required to work extra days during the year to support with events that need larger scale catering, like the Christmas meal and the end of year celebration event.
