Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and friendly plumbing company learning on the job and getting hands-on experience.
Gas-Exe offers a wide range of services in both the domestic and commercial markets, which in turn gives a successful candidate the opportunity to work on a number of varied projects.
The company will support you throughout your Apprenticeship and beyond.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
· Prepare and clean work sites before and after jobs.
· Supporting your colleagues in the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems.
· Assisting with the installation of new plumbing systems to include pipes, fixtures and appliances.
· Move and handle plumbing tools and equipment under supervision
· Undertake basic tasks including cutting and assembling pipes, drilling walls and floors for pipe installation and dealing with minor repairs
· Assist in inspecting plumbing systems and learn to identify issues
· Adhere to Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for you and others
· Attending college days and complete the coursework involved in your Apprentice
Training
You will attend Exeter College one day per week during term time to work towards your Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Apprenticeship.
Qualifications required
GCSE or equivalent 4/c or above in Maths and English
Skills required
· The ability to safely use and maintain machines and tools
· To be thorough and pay attention to detail
· The ability to use your initiative
· Ability to learn and adapt
· Correctly follow instructions
· Ideally hold a full UK Driving Licence

Potential for full-time employment after apprenticeship if applicable.

Duration 48 months
