We are currently seeking a female driver Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated care team. This role requires travel between service users’ homes, so a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
This position is open to female applicants only due to the personal care needs of our clients, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Support with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment
Assist with medication and meal preparation
Offer companionship and emotional support
Carry out light domestic duties to ensure a safe and clean environment
Maintain accurate care records using our digital system
Travel between client homes in the local area
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence and own car
Experience in care (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
Compassionate, reliable, and respectful nature
Good communication and time management skills
