Summary
A Part time Nanny-Housekeeper is needed by this wonderful family in Camden Town, London to help them care for their toddler and school-aged child as well as maintain the cleanliness of their home. This position is perfect for someone who is fun, engaging, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively. The candidate should be able to teach basic alphabet/phonics, write simple numbers and read books with the younger child. The family has a cleaner once a week who does deep cleaning so the role will be just general upkeep of the home. The nanny-housekeeper must help in preparing meals when needed.
Someone who could speak French or Spanish languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00/7:30 pm, around 30 to 32.5 hours per week
Duties include:
assisting with bath time routine
dressing the children
feeding them
cleaning them up after every meal
taking them to playdates
preparing various age-appropriate activities
playing with them
helping the other children with homework
making sure they are always happy and safe
changing nappies and helping the little one with potty/toilet training
teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
take care of the household
cooking for the family
making sure the toilet and bathroom are clean
doing the grocery shopping and errands
organising cupboards and changing bedsheets
