Summary

Step into a role where your leadership makes a real impact.
As Lettings Manager, you’ll lead a motivated and high-performing team that’s all about delivering results and creating a great experience for our new and existing customers. You’ll be at the heart of a fast-paced, customer-focused service that plays a key role in minimising rent loss and positioning Platform Housing Group as a landlord of choice.
You’ll bring energy, drive, and a supportive leadership style — coaching and empowering your team to meet key performance targets, provide an exceptional lettings journey, and consistently deliver great outcomes. Working in an agile way, you’ll know how to bring out the best in your people while keeping customers at the centre of every decision.
In this role, you’ll:
• Lead and inspire a committed team, helping them stay engaged and perform at their best.
• Champion our People Values, creating a positive culture where people feel supported, valued and encouraged to thrive.
• Plan and prioritise workloads, keeping performance strong and void rent loss low.
• Responsible for decision making – ensuring we create sustainable tenancies and communities.
• Provide clear communication and guidance to customers throughout the lettings process
About You
You’re someone who puts the customer experience at the heart of everything you do, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring energy and drive to help your team achieve performance-based KPIs — always focused on delivering great results.
You’ll have experience in lettings or housing management, ideally gained in a housing association or local authority, and you’re confident working with a wide range of people. You’ve built strong relationships with internal and external partners, and you know how to keep those connections productive and positive.
As a supportive team leader, you know how to bring out the best in others. You have experience managing or coaching teams and take an agile, people-first approach to leadership, ideally, in person and remotely. You’re someone who builds trust quickly, with strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
This is a home-based role, but regular travel to our Worcester or Birmingham Business Park offices — you’ll be attending regular team meetings. Please note, this role also requires a basic DBS check.
