Summary


Assistant Psychologist

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full time Assistant Psychologist to join the Community CAMHS Eating Disorder Service based at The Lookout, Hopewood.

The post holder will support the clinical psychology provision to undertake assessment, consultation and intervention. Intervention will involve working directly with Children, Young People and Families under the supervision of the Clinical Psychologist.

A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

You will work as part of the Community CAMHS Eating Disorder multi-disciplinary team

Your main duties include:
• To support and carry out a range of psychometric and other assessments with people who have an eating disorder or other mental health difficulties.
• To support and carry out defined therapeutic interventions with young people with an eating disorder or other mental health difficulties.
• To support interventions with staff teams, such as consultancy, training, identifying resources, multi-disciplinary working, signposting staff to appropriate services and service promotion.
• To support data collection and analysis, for both clinical and service evaluation, as required. This may include collecting and reviewing a variety of data such as psychometric scores, interview data, historical information, literature searches. It may also involve data analysis and report writing under supervision.
