Summary
Forklift Truck/Warehouse operative
41.5hr week
08.00 – 17.00 Mon – Thurs / 08.00 – 16.00 Friday
The Warehouse operative main tasks will be the processing and fulfilment of orders. This will include Goods In, Picking and Packing of goods and Despatch, in accordance with Company Procedures.
Requirements of candidate
FLT License (Taken or refreshed within the last 3 years
Must be IT literate with ability to input and retrieve data
Essential Experience
Working in a warehouse environment with at least 1 years experience.
FLT Driver with at least 1 years experience.
Stock control
Principal Duties
Goods In – Unloading deliveries
Checking delivery notes against goods
Checking/matching delivery notes against purchase orders
Goods Out - Picking stock for manufacturing/installation/retail sales
Packing materials ready for despatch
Despatching - stock to production
Loading shipments from single crates to full containers
Returns - Booking stock returned from site back into stock
Booking excess materials allocated to projects back into stock
Stock Control - Stock rotation
Organisation of warehouse
Highlighting discrepancies / issues
Stock takes - Carrying out stock short fall reports
Monthly stock checks
Full stock takes (Bi-annually)
Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. (Warehouse & Yard)
Temporary ongoing role
