Summary
My client is looking for an Administrator to work at a School around the Coniston area. This is a Maternity cover role to start in September 2025 initially until June 2026 and it will be working 30 hours per week, term-time only.
Working hours: Flexible just as long as you work between 8.30am-3.30pm each day
Salary: BS6 scale point 7- £25,584 FTE (Exact salary is £15,514.12 = £13.26ph)
Job Purpose:
To organise resources and provide information and business administration support to internal and external customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Planning and organising own work and coordinating with other team members
• Scheduling meetings and events and making travel arrangements
• Entering data, checking for accuracy
• Preparing and providing information, reports and documents, Taking meeting minutes/ notes for internal/external use
• Manage stock levels and requisition necessary supplies/ services where necessary, procuring appropriate supplies/services
• Processing financial transactions and where necessary, authorising small value refunds.
• Responding to customer enquiries
• Contribute to team-working. Provide instruction and on-the-job training for colleagues
Experience & Qualification required for the position
• Previous experience working as an Administrator within a school setting
• Experience using Arbor is desirable but not essential (training will be given)
• NQF or NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience or knowledge, in the relevant work area
