Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Development Officer to join our Team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference within your local community, by connecting with our local communities, working with them and a range of partners and stakeholders, to facilitate and sup- port the delivery of local priorities and help support the development of our Cwmparc Community Associations Developmental Plan for 26/27.

The successful candidate will work to empower our local communities and work preventively to help reduce inequalities and tackle barriers to participation whilst supporting the delivery of new initiatives & community activities within the Association.

The post will be based between our Family Hub & the Main Community Centre
Interviews will take place w/c 23rd June 2025

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to degree level in Community Education or equivalent level in a relevant subject and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through at least 4 years of previous experience.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence with own transport is desirable for this post.

The post is funded for 1 year by the Moondance Foundation
