Injection Mould Tool Setter Assistant East Peckham £12.21 - £14.42 (dependent on experience) Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm About the Role
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in East Peckham, is seeking a dedicated Injection Mould Tool Setter Assistant to join their production team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Tool Setter and play a key role in operating and monitoring injection moulding machines to ensure consistent production of high-quality plastic components.
Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing tools and equipment for production runs Operate injection moulding machines in line with daily production schedules Support the Tool Setter with setup and operational tasks Ensure safe handling and correct storage of all tools Monitor machinery performance and make basic adjustments once trained Record production data accurately and report any irregularities Candidate Requirements Basic understanding of injection moulding processes Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Good communication skills and attention to detail Why Join?
