Summary
Title: Night Warehouse Operative / Parcel Sorter The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to work night shifts at our client's parcel distribution depot, based in Farlington, Portsmouth.
Duties to include, but not limited to: Sorting incoming parcels into the correct boxes Helping to wrap, label and scan parcels Organising outgoing parcels into postcode areas Loading and unloading cages from vehicles Assisting with all general warehouse duties Previous warehouse experience is not essential, but would be highly advantageous when being considered for the role. This is to work night shifts, so please ensure you are happy to work nights before applying.
This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position, on a temp-to-perm basis. The company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.
The hours of work are starting at 22:30, every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Four shifts per week, and the shifts can last anywhere between 6 and 10 hours, with estimated finish times between 04:30 and 08:30.
An induction will take place on Thursday 5th June and, if successful, you would start on Monday 9th June at 22:30.
Starting pay rate of £12.21 per hour.
