Summary

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children's in Care Team

This role REQUIRES a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

The team attend multi-disciplinary meetings and collaborate with other agencies to complete assessments and develop child - centered care plans. Ensure care plans are up to date and reflect the child's needs. The team will make sure that Children's daily care needs are met and they have a full understanding of the care journey through direct work, life story work and collaboration. Managing caseloads of up to 18 children, including those of Care Orders, unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, children placed with parents, and those under placement orders.

About You

Degree within Social Work (Degree/ DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years post qualified work experience is required. Highly experienced working in a Children in Need Team. A valid UK driving licence and a car is essential to this role.
