Up to £60,000
Engineering Manager required by highly successful and market leading manufacturing company based in Andover. The successful Engineering Manager will play a key role in the business providing leadership to the Engineering Team whilst ensuring that new products are introduced and manufactured cost effectively.
Main Duties – Engineering Manager
• Leading and managing the Engineering team. Overseeing the new product introduction process.
• Liaising with internal departments and troubleshooting production issues.
• New product development of electronic and mechanical products and software, working from specifications.
• Responsibility for project planning and delivery.
• Supporting with design improvements and obsolescence management
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Providing technical product support to internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Engineering Manager
• Educated to HND or equivalent in an Electronic, Computer Science or Mechanical engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in product development within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Track record of delivering complex projects on time and to specification.
• Highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility for international travel to meet the needs of the business.
