**We are looking for a very special personal assistant (PA) for our 14-year-old Son.**

* We live on the outskirts of Margate.
* We have allocated 3 hours per week term time and 6 hours per week during non-term time. Hours can be increased over time, if working well.
* Need to be flexible and work afternoons or early evenings, regular hours, or some mornings (which will be pre-planned in advance).
* The young person is physically able. Very good at communicating. However, young person is ASD and a vulnerable individual, therefore we need a sensible person that can adapt and support the young person. Someone with experience in SEN would be an advantage.
* Must be able to work well and gel with the young person and his family.
* A background in working with young people with Autism is required, and possible epilepsy awareness (although well controlled now).
* Access to a car and clean driving license is important, although using public transport is necessary for trips out to support interests.
**National Minimum wage of £12.21 per hour paid, plus (PAYE) + holiday pay and help towards fuel/travel costs.**
**Required enhanced DBS (we can arrange for free, or copy of existing DBS not older than 18 months) plus proof of right to work in UK, if applicable.**
**Vacancy closing date: 30-Jun-2025**
