Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiac Catheter Labs for a full time Band 5 Nurse . This post involves working in all areas of the Catheter labs which incorporates Cardiac Angiography / Angioplasty/ Pacing and Electrophysiology. Once trained, the successful candidate will be expected to participate on our 24/7 on- call rota for PPCI.
Our hours of work are Monday-Friday 08.30-17.00 with one 10.00-18.00 shift per week .
The position would entail working as a scrub/circulating nurse within the labs. Previous experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. We are a dynamic, progressive and supportive team who welcome individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
The position includes working within a friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team. Opportunities for CPD are provided with in house teaching sessions and upon experience facilitated conferences.

We are looking to add to our team of caring and compassionate nurses. The ideal candidate will be acting as a scrub/ circulating nurse within the Cath labs where patients are having invasive cardiac procedures.
We work closely with an MDT of skilled professionals and would encourage applications from candidates with a positive attitude on a background of caring for patients in an acute setting.

Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute.
