The Opportunity: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher (QTS) to join there dedicated team. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the educational journey of exceptional young learners. As a class teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing a highly differentiated and engaging curriculum tailored to individual student needs and EHCPs.
- Creating a stimulating, safe, and positive learning environment that fosters independence and celebrates progress.
- Utilising a range of specialist teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and address specific SEN.
- Leading and collaborating with a team of experienced Learning Support Workers/Teaching Assistants, providing guidance and support.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress rigorously, contributing to reviews and annual reports.
- Building strong, positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contributing to the wider school life and ethos.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs, ideally within a specialist SEN setting.
- A comprehensive understanding of a range of SEN.
- Exceptional differentiation skills to meet the diverse academic and personal needs of learners.
- Strong classroom management and positive behaviour support strategies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
- Resilience, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for SEN education.
