Our vibrant Children and Young People Disability team, within our ‘Outstanding’ Children’s services, is on the lookout for a passionate Family Key Worker.
We're searching for someone who is excited to contribute to our innovative service, where children, young people, and families are placed at the forefront of our mission.
As a Family Key Worker, you will have a varied role in supporting children and their families. This might for example include implementing a communication system, supporting with mealtime and bedtime routines and advising on safety in the home. Your presence will also offer direct support to Social Workers and Occupational Therapists when needed.
To excel in this role, you should have an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification, a deep understanding of child protection policies and working with children and families where disability is present, a commitment to safeguarding children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Proven experience working with vulnerable children, strong knowledge of child development, and a drive to improve outcomes for children and families are essential.
