Summary

Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to provide high standards of cleanliness. You will be joining our Soft FM team based in Southwest and North London. Our Soft FM team is responsible for a wide range of cleaning, grounds maintenance and caretaking services to ensure community assets are well-maintained.

Supporting the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating cleaning staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. You will provide a high quality scheduled and reactive janitorial service and effective management of the cleaning teams providing guidance and direction.

Travel will be required between Southwest London and North London. A full driving licence is essential. The hours of work are 7.30am to 3.30pm or 8am to 4pm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a high quality scheduled and reactive janitorial service
  • Effective management of the cleaning teams, monitoring progress against individual objectives and providing guidance and direction to staff where needed.
  • To audit the standards of cleaning in all areas reporting Health and Safety concerns ensuring shortfalls are rectified.
  • To operate and train staff on the use of cleaning machinery.
  • To ensure all staff understand the correct use of cleaning materials and are instructed in the safe use of all substances and manage to COSHH regulation.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Take pride in the appearance of residential blocks and community centres and provide upkeep of the interior communal areas such as stairs, lifts, landings, as per the contract specification.
  • Ensure that internal communal areas and facilities are clean, hygienic, and free from litter, bulky refuse and health and safety risks.
  • Ensure that bin chutes, refuse bins and storage areas are usable, clean, tidy and hazard free.

Key requirements:

  • Full driving licence
  • Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills.
  • Cleaning Supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
