Summary
We are looking for a candidate who can integrate well into the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The candidate should have a strong interest in Gynaecology / Benign Gynaecology and be able to run rapid access clinics and operate independently but we accept there may be a need for initial surgical support. It is expected that the candidate will attend MDT meetings and contribute to the management of more complex patients. The candidate will also be expected to run general gynaecology and endometriosis service. The candidate will also be expected to participate in the Labour ward Rota and their on-call is expected to cover both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The Rota is currently on a 1:16 weekend rotation. The appointee will also be expected to play a lead role in undergraduate teaching.
