Summary
Youll take the lead in ensuring our health and safety practices are not only compliant but compassionate. From risk assessments and training to inspections and contractor management, youll work with a wide range of teams clinical, retail, fundraising, and corporate embedding a positive safety culture across the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and maintaining our health and safety policies, procedures and audits across all sites Supporting managers with risk assessments, accident investigations and safe systems of work Delivering in-house training and briefings to raise awareness and ensure understanding Monitoring contractor compliance and working with suppliers to meet H&S standards Supporting the planning of large events and fundraising activities to ensure safety requirements are met Carrying out inspections and site visits to our shops and community-based services Reporting regularly to senior leaders, highlighting areas of strength and potential risk Keeping up to date with relevant legislation and best practice, ensuring ongoing compliance This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, meaningful relationships, and the opportunity to guide and influence in a trusted environment.
