Summary
Northwest Leaving Care is a service dedicated to delivering support and guidance to young people aged 16-18 across the Northwest. Our growing business requires a number of Support Workers.
Main Duties/Requirements
***********Must be over the age of 21 years old to apply for this role*************
The main purpose of the post is to provide direct support to young people, ensuring that all aspects of their independent living transition and experience is positive and productive. To ensure that young people feel supported and valued in all aspects of their placement. To understand, follow and work within the Ofsted Regulations. To ensure that young people have access to a range of services which can contribute to them successfully completing their independent living training.
Shifts are based on a Rota basis which will include some sleep- in duties, evenings and weekends.
1 to 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people is desirable
A full driving licence and with business insurance is desirable.
A Diploma/NVQ in Social Care is desirable.
