Salary: Unqualified: UQ1 £21,731 to UQ6 £33,902 or Qualified: Main Scale M1 £31,650 to M6 £43,607 per annum, pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Music Service team and musically inspire the children of North Yorkshire as a Whole Class Instrumental Music Teacher.
We are looking for a qualified or un-qualified teacher to teach whole class instrumental programmes in strings, ukulele and/or guitar. The post holder will be working with primary schools in the Harrogate and Skipton area, but we also have possibilities to work across North Yorkshire. The hours for this post are variable and are set each term.

The role:
In this role you will teach whole class instrumental lessons, plan engaging lessons for pupils across the academic year, and assess the progress of the students, keeping parents/guardians and schools updated with regular feedback.
What you'll need to succeed:
Excellent instrumental skills.
Effective teaching strategies for instrumental music that are engaging for primary school aged children.
A passion for the importance of music education.
Great written and verbal communication.

Enhanced Level DBS Disclosure is required for appointment to this post.
