The Role:
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional pub cuisine that matches our spectacular location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Lead the kitchen team in Head Chef's absence
• Create and execute seasonal menu items
• Maintain food quality and presentation standards
• Manage stock rotation and ordering
• Ensure kitchen compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train and develop junior team members
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie
• Passion for quality pub cuisine and local ingredients
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Creative approach to menu development
• Understanding of food cost control and GP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
