Job Purpose:
TESTQ Technologies is an IT services and solutions company whose offerings spans over variety of industry sectors with strong technical, domain and process expertise helping clients grow their businesses and decrease operational costs on continuous basis in an ever-changing business environment.
This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Graphic Designer who will play a major role in the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Create visual content for digital platforms including social media graphics, web banners, email templates, and digital ads.
Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and signage.
Develop and maintain brand consistency across all visual assets.
Translate concepts and ideas into visually appealing designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
Revise designs based on feedback in a timely manner.
Prepare final artwork for production or digital deployment.
Stay current with industry trends and design tools.
Responsible for creative output and operational efficiency
Determines style, technique, and medium best suited to organization promotion strategies
Awareness of current fashions in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design.
Continually identify opportunities to create additional value, proactive with ideas and creative solutions
Work both independently and collaboratively to design motion graphics that transform complicated concepts into clear visuals.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
Min 4+yrs of experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
Knowledge (CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, WordPress, etc.) is a BIG plus
Good awareness of regulatory or risk-based change initiatives.
Proven ability to manage stakeholders and SMEs to deliver results within demanding timelines.
Strong communication skills, being able to understand technical detail and tailor summary to the audience in a simple and clear manner - both verbally and written.
Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and design for web and mobile interfaces.
Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Canva.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite (designing/creating digital templates, presentations etc.)
Knowledge of graphical requirements of social media channels is preferable
Out of the box creative thinker
Understanding patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
