Summary
General dental nurse duties Lead the Nursing Team to deliver an excellent service to both patients and clinicians Follow Lead Nurse Workflow and ensure this is kept up to date Ensure all staff are wearing correct uniform, PPE and badges General walk around and spot check each surgery for cleanliness and ensuring daily checklists are completed Stock Management & Ordering Emergency Kit & First Aid Kit Management Carry out Surgery & CDU Spot Checks Carry out Instrument & Bagging Spot Check Ensure all weekly CDU & Surgery Checklists and logs are completed and up to date Ensure stock rotation is happening i.e. longest expiry dates to the back etc Plan and carry out training with Nurses as per Nurse Training Schedule Carry out audits and checks as and when required
