Our client is a successful North East SME which designs, supplies and installs specialist systems across a range of commercial sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued success, they are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their Gateshead site on a full time, permanent basis.

The Operations Manager Role

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee delivery and installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery and installation of projects from start to finish, including site surveys and compiling RAMS.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the project team of planners, senior install supervisors, and installation technicians, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Client Relations: Visit sites and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet company standards and client specifications.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards, overseeing the renewal of corporate safety accreditations such as CHAS and SafeContractor.

About the Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, you will have a strong background in project management, logistics, and team leadership, ideally gained within the construction sector.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS Accredited.
IOSH Accredited.
