We are working with a respected secondary school in Bristol that is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to start in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking department, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, helping students develop their mathematical understanding and preparing them for success in exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4


  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback


  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment


  • Contribute to the wider Maths department and support the school’s values and ethos


    Candidate Requirements:

    • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification


    • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)


    • Strong classroom management and communication skills


    • A genuine passion for Maths and the ability to motivate and inspire students
