We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley providing support and care for adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism.

What we’ll give you:

£12.21 per hour.
Full time 35.5 hours. Shifts will be between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. We operate a two week rolling rota.

What you’ll be doing:

All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, and key working.
You will be required to operate hoists.
Supporting with activities and interests both within the service and out in the community.
Epilepsy training will be given.
Providing person-centered care.

Who you are:
• You will have a minimum of 1 year of experience working within the social care sector.
• Experience of working with learning disabilities, autism, or epilepsy would be preferred, but is not essential.
• You have the ability and passion to support the individual needs of our residents, providing high quality person centered care.
• An NVQ level 2 or above in health and social care would be preferable but not essential; if you don’t have this, then you will have a willingness to achieve.
