As the Pensions Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, providing guidance and support in the administration of various pension schemes, while ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and internal policies. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internal and external, will be crucial in fostering relationships that drive our mission forward. You will also be involved in strategic decision-making, exploring opportunities for process improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance the service provided to our clients. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the pensions team, providing direction and support.
Oversee the administration of pension schemes ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding pensions.
Develop and implement training programs for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, conducting regular reviews and feedback sessions.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless pension operations.
Research and stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pension management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pensions or retirement plans administration.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong knowledge of pension regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic recommendations.
Proficiency in pension administration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
