Summary
Are you a creative and friendly Cook with a passion for preparing nutritious and well-balanced meals?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part time Cook to join our team based in our care home at Mawgan, Nr Helston Cornwall on a permanent basis, working up to 20 hours per week. This will include weekend working.
Benefits include: generous annual leave up to 30 days plus bank holidays (pro rata for p/t)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing, cooking, and serving well balanced and nutritious food and ensuring that food is stored according to food hygiene legislation
Promoting high standards and complying with all relevant legislation and regulations
Carrying out food and fridge temperature checks, and recording as necessary
Interacting with our service users daily and overseeing HCA’s in the kitchen.
Planning menus in consultation with the manager and service users and ensuring that there are sufficient quantities of stock to enable the meals to be prepared
Ensure that all areas of the kitchen are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and the cleaning schedule is adhered to.
