Summary
Cook required for Newquay Care Home.
We're looking for a confident, enthusiastic cook who can make a choice of delicious home cooked meals for approximately 20 people.
Responsibilities include:
Fresh home cooked meals
Listening to our residents and finding their preferences.
Using fresh produce to create menus.
Catering for diabetic residents
Catering for those who require textured diets
We have 20 lovely older people living in our care home, so we're looking for someone who enjoys having a chat and a joke with our residents, as well as making them the delicious home cooked food that they love.
Behind the scenes, you'll be selecting what food and ingredients to order online from our local shops and supermarkets, we'll happily offer training and support for this part of the job.
Hours 15 per week, 3x 5hour shifts.
Alternate weekends.
Start time 08.30 -13.30
Option for additional hours to cover annual leave. Sunday enhancement hourly rate.
Enhancement for Public and Bank holidays.
