The Best Connection are actively seeking Sewing Machinists with experience or an interest in the field to work for our client Schoolblazer on Castlewood Business Park, Sutton in Ashfield!!
Duties of the role: Sewing name tags onto various school uniform items, i.e. blazers, trousers, socks Quality checking the name tags in which you are sewing onto the garments Cross referencing name tags, with the pick sheet provided Working hours: During training you will work 0800 - 1600, Monday to Friday Once fully trained you will work 08:00 - 17:00 receiving a weekly rota working any 5 out of 7 days Overtime available during peak periods, such as extra hours or extra shifts Pay: £7.55 p/h (16-17 year olds) £10 p/h (18-21 year olds) £12.21 p/h (21 years old & over) Overtime is paid at time and a third after standard 40 hours worked When the peak period hits, you will receive 5p for every garment processed upon hitting your hourly target this can be up to AN EXTRA £120 ON TOP OF YOUR WEEKLY WAGE!!
