At WALSINGHAM SUPPORT, were on a mission to support people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling, independent lives. As our new Activities Co-ordinator, you'll be right at the heart of that mission helping to create daily moments of joy, discovery, and connection.
What You'll Be Doing:
Plan and lead practical outdoor sessions focused on land management and animal care Empowering individuals to grow in confidence, develop new skills, and experience independence in everyday life. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external partners to make every day count. Maintain livestock health and welfare Enhance wildlife habitats and site appearance Perform general site maintenance (e.g., fencing, planting, minor repairs) Supervise volunteers and support students in learning and development Ensure health & safety compliance, including risk assessments and equipment checks
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
A creative thinker and enthusiastic doer someone who can turn even a rainy day into an opportunity for connection. Passionate about inclusive support and empowering people with disabilities to live their best lives. Great communicator someone who listens with empathy and adapts to different communication styles. Organised, reliable, and able to follow policies and safeguarding procedures. Experience in a care/support setting or activity planning is a bonus but if you have the passion, well help you learn the rest.
