Summary

Receive and manage sensitive information regarding the abuse of individuals requiring interpretation and preparation for reports and data. There may also be times where participation with complaints or meetings whereby distress and aggression may be displayed from others. Lead on the review and delivery of the Safeguarding Children and Young People training programmes across the organisation. Lead on the development and delivery of the Safeguarding champions agenda. Be responsive and adaptable to deadlines and unpredictable service demands within limited time constraints to meet objectives and deadlines. Deputise for the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children and Young People when required. Support the monitoring of the allocated budget for the service and help identify the most effective way of working within available resources. Manage and develop staff in accordance with Trust policies regarding performance, sickness and other related issues. Support the development and delivery of robust internal systems to promote a consistent, high quality safeguarding service. This will involve working with senior managers and leaders and front line colleagues across the Trust to develop systems, produce reports, and promote consistent, high quality safeguarding services.
