Summary

Key Responsibilities EMIS Web / EPS Configuration: Responsible for setting up and managing user access to EMIS Web and Electronic Prescription Services (EPS), ensuring clinicians and administrative staff have the appropriate roles, permissions, and configurations tailored to their duties. System One Interoperability Management: Support interoperability between EMIS Web and System One, ensuring accurate and secure exchange of patient data and facilitating cross-system communication across care providers. Accurx Account Configuration: Configure and manage user access for Accurx, including batch onboarding, security permissions, and group messaging settings to ensure effective communication between patients and clinical teams. NHS Mail / Email Setup: Set up and manage NHSmail accounts, distribution lists, and associated Outlook configurations, ensuring secure and compliant communication systems. First-Line IT Support: Provide prompt and professional first-line support for IT incidents and service requests, aiming for first-time resolution or timely escalation to senior IT staff or external vendors. Remote Licensing: Issue, configure, and maintain remote access licenses, such as VPN or RDS access, enabling secure work-from-home or multi-site access as required by staff and contractors. Telephony Administration: Make configuration changes to the telephony systems, such as call routing or voicemail setups, in accordance with approved governance processes and operational needs. Asset Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets, including laptops, phones, smart card readers, and peripheral devices; responsible for issuing, tracking, and replacing equipment as needed. Project Assistance: Assist with the implementation and delivery of IT and digital transformation projects, such as new system rollouts, upgrades, or integrations across practices and partner sites. Remote Site Management: Monitor and manage IT infrastructure across remote and partner locations, providing onsite support as necessary and coordinating with external service providers when issues arise. Staff Onboarding: Deliver IT onboarding for new staff and contractors, including account provisioning, hardware allocation, VPN setup, and user orientation on systems and security policies. Credential & Access Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and deletion of user credentials across all systems, ensuring timely updates to reflect staff role changes or departures. NHS Smart Card Support: Configure and issue NHS Smart Cards, maintain user roles via the Care Identity Service, and provide troubleshooting support related to smart card access. General IT Support: Deliver day-to-day IT support services across all Harrow Health locations, resolving hardware/software issues and maintaining service uptime. Facilities and Remote Support Escalation: Respond to or escalate premises-based or remote connectivity issues to relevant teams, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders to resolve service-impacting problems.
