Key Stage 3/4 Learning Support Class for pupils with Complex Needs Difficulties
Hours: 32.5 (Term Time)Salary Scale: Grade 6 (£27,269 x 77.15%) plus SEN Allowance (£1,491 x 77.15%)A Learning Support Assistant is required for as soon possible for the above provision. The posts will involve assisting the class teacher in the implementation of individual programmes, and supporting pupils both in the base and in mainstream classes.
The successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team and be prepared to undertake appropriate specialist training in this challenging area of additional educational needs.PROTECTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS AT RISK IS A CORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SCHOOL AND COUNCIL. IN ADDITION TO THIS SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITY, THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT FOR THE ROLE WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT TO AN ENHANCED DISCLOSURE AND BARRING SERVICE CHECK.
