Summary

Join Our Team as an Outreach Youth Mentor - Make a Lasting Impact

Position: Outreach Youth Worker (Mentoring Role)
Hourly Rate: £20 per hour (PAYE)
Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Flexible Hours: Between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM
Age Group: Key Stage 1-4
Specialist Provision: SEN, SEND, SEMH, Behavioural, Medical



About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Outreach Youth Mentor to support children and young people with a range of emotional, behavioural, and educational needs. You will work one-to-one with students in community or residential settings, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and re-engage with education. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.



Key Responsibilities

Provide emotional support and guidance to students facing challenges such as mental health issues, family difficulties, or academic stress

Help young people develop essential life skills including communication, time management, and decision-making

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 2 years' experience working with young people, particularly those with complex or challenging needs
