University of Bath/ Bath Spa seeks a passionate Study Skills Tutor to support university students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Provide academic support in organization, time management, and research.
- Foster student independence through effective learning strategies.
- Collaborate with university staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree (minimum Level 6).
- Teaching Experience.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Extensive autism training (NAS modules or Optimum Training).
- Proven experience supporting autistic students.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
